He has worked at large companies and small, and has seen products grow from the conception of an idea through to sunsetting. For eighteen years John taught technical communications at Harvard University Extension and University of Massachusetts, Lowell. John is also an accomplished public speaker, product demo meister, and has produced technical conferences around the world. |

Education |
Bachelor of Arts – Tulane University in New Orleans, majors in English and Philosophy. |

Favorite Projects |
John has been involved in too many great ones to pick out any single project, but always enjoys working from the very beginning to flesh out ideas and turn them into reality. |
Areas of Interest and Design Orientation |
Initial stages of Web-based product design and development have always been fascinating learning experiences. |
Hobbies and Special Interests |
John has been an avid downhill skier for over 40 years, and is a former ski patroller, experienced in non-urban first aid. He likes classic cars and owned a couple of older BMWs in the past and currently has an '84 Alfa Romeo Spider that is just made for cruising the back roads of Vermont. He is a new student of artisinal baking ... trying to master the intricate art of making baguettes! |

Favorite Food |
There are benefits to being at the top of the food chain and John eats just about anything, but loves his wife's superb cooking (she is a trained chef ...). But his barbecue grill and smoker are some of his favorite tools. |

Character |
John grew up moving all over the world, living in the Deep South, Aruba, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and London all before starting college. At one time he was fairly fluent in five languages. He has lived in New Zealand as well where it is rumored they speak a form of English. His experience has taught him that the world is a big place, and infinite in its variety, but that there are some core realities that do not change. He's good at getting to the heart of the matter, wherever that may lead. |
