About the CUA exam

  • The CUA exam is designed to gauge knowledge and skills, and not to be a final exam of the CUA courses. Many questions are covered in the courses, and some questions test the ability to apply methodologies and tools to common design challenges.
  • Several times a year, HFI offers a three hour online exam. The exam is offered during a 24-hour period, without any prerequisites.
  • If you do not pass the exam, you can retake it within one year at no extra cost.
